Russian tourist arrivals to Thailand, which witnessed a major drop this year, are expected to revive towards the end of the year, a senior official from The Association of Thai Travel Agents (ATTA) told the Bangkok Post.
The ATTA believes that Russian tourist arrivals will increase in the fourth quarter of 2015, according to the report.
ATTA President President Charoen Wangananont told the paper that Russians would return as soon as their economy improved. He added that the number of direct flights between the countries is insufficient after Thai Airways cancelled its Moscow flights earlier this year.
