An exhibition of Korean artist Ho Jin's paintings was inaugurated on May 25 at the Korean Cultural Center in Moscow.

The exhibition, which was supported by the South Korean embassy, was timed to coincide with the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Russia and South Korea.

Ho Jin’s work does not strictly follow the traditional Korean painting and art forms, but there are elements of classical Korean art.

The exhibition by Ho Jin, who is a professor at the Chonnam National University, was dedicated to the friendship between Korea and Russia and demonstrated both his early and present work.

The guests of the exhibition were welcomed by director of the Cultural Center of Korea, Pak Hyun Bon and Hyundai Motor CIS Chief Executive Yong-Gi Ku, both of whom noted the importance of the anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations. They said the countries needed to increase cooperation.
